Slow Down, See More

My Journey

Photography has always been a passion of mine, but it wasn’t until 2020 that I finally took the plunge and invested in my first DSLR camera. Since then, it has become my creative outlet and a way to practice mindfulness. With each shot, I’ve challenged myself to improve, experimenting with different techniques and perspectives.

I started with a Nikon D3500 paired with an 18-140mm lens, exploring my surroundings and capturing the world through my lens. Over time, photography has not only honed my skills but also deepened my appreciation for the details often overlooked in everyday life.

Now, I feel ready to share my journey—my growth, my experiments, and the moments that have shaped my experience as a photographer. Alongside my latest work, I’ll be delving into my past photos to reflect on the challenges I faced, the lessons I learned, and the equipment I used along the way. Through this, I hope to provide insight into my creative process and how my approach to photography has evolved over time.

I live in Glasgow, a city full of character, history, and stunning landscapes that provide endless inspiration for my photography. Whether capturing the beauty of the River Clyde, the vibrant street scenes, or the tranquil greenery of the city’s parks, Glasgow has played a significant role in shaping my photographic style. Additionally, its close proximity to the Scottish Highlands offers me the chance to explore breathtaking mountains, lochs, and remote landscapes, further enriching my photography journey.

Thank you for stopping by, and I hope you enjoy following my journey as much as I enjoy capturing it.
